Death's weekly scouting report Empty Death's weekly scouting report

Ive been in online leagues a LONG time, almost 10 years, lol. One thing I have done that people like is scouting reports. Its not a bash post, its just for fun and not always 100% as the game goes fast and the eyes are not alwways perfect. But Enjoy.

    Week 1 vs. Saints(osu)

    Offense:

Running: sticks with the run most of the game. does a nice job with the counter to the weak side. if u see the TE motion its a coounter to the open side. Most outside runs then inside but did throw some in there. he does not run Brees but who whould, lol.

Passing: mainly crossing routes. did mix in a few posts, a deep and some out routes but the middle of the field or numbers are his targets on the crosses on diff layers. Does have issues agasint the zone blitzs reading the right coverage creating INTs and sacks. Think he uses the gameflow option other then picking his own plays becasue the plays came in super fast and diff formations so know ur defensive playbook well to get the right play u want in.

Defense: Underman most of the game. Only saw a rare few zones mixed in on the redzone area or on a once in a while 3rd down. But reg man underman is his main play. Users a DE or DT and manually moves them presnap which i beleive is banned in all sim leagues. Holes open pretty good in the middle as i think he fans the DEs leaving ghe gap.

Sp teams: Nothing to reort, normal on both.

GG Saints, GL in ur season.

I dont think manually moving players pre snap is banned. As long as u only move the player you're controlling and you dont move the de way outside.

usually u can move any position manually except any Dline player. So LBs, saftys could be moved manaully, DEs, anf DTs can not. Atleast thats every other sim league that ive ever been in in the last 9 years.

Now there is actually alot of leagues that ban any presnap movement by any player to control the nano blitzs but again all leagues are diff. Not sure this league does that but its pretty much a common rule in any sim league Dline can never be moved manually.

I stated in the rules that you cannot manualy pull a defensive lineman in a 3 point stance off of the line before the snap. Sometimes when you are hot routing a defensive lineman using the left stick the lineman will slide a little. I know it happens to me. The lineman will move a little to the left and right and sometimes standup for a split second. That's fine. But you can't manually stand him up or move him back near the safeties or move him to the opposite side of the tv screen.

    week 2 Panthers(chiefin)

    Offense:

Running: Decent job in the run game, looks to hit the outsides with his spd back. Uses Tosses, counters and some blasts that I remember. He will look to the run the QB later in the game but at first stays in the pocket.

Passing: Likes to use alot of crossing routes to slots and TEs. Look for s. Smith WR on twin set he will hit on the oppt side cross route. Tried a few deeps here and there and a couple of flat routes. Did a good job adjusting to the blitz in 2nd half, 1st half killed him with pressure but started rolling out alot more with Cam to gain some more time.

Defense: Man coverage all game. dont remember a single zone coverage play. Uses the bump and run alot as well. Base play is the famous underman and will start to throw in some blitzes as times but it is always a man blitz, no zones, even in redzone. Users the LB and tries to cover the cross, but gets hurt on the flats, Hb delays, curls and slants. Did do a decent job agasinst the run, I had about the same yardage as him.

    GG Panthers

    Good Game Pack
I was sloppy on offense, should have been a more interesting finish, but that was such a dumb pass at the end...Good luck the rest of the way man
