    Rules Defense

    1. No nanos

    Rules offense

    1. You may only go for it on 4th down if it’s 4th and 1 yard or less once you have reached your opponents 39 yard line. Otherwise punt the ball or kick the field goal with two exceptions. If you are losing by 20 points or more anytime in the game or if you are losing anytime in the 4th quarter you may go for it on 4th down. No Other Exceptions Period.

    2. The no huddle offense is only allowed with EXACTLY 3 minutes or less in the second quarter or if you are losing anytime in the 4th quarter.

    3. You can only change offensive formations once at the line of scrimmage. You can also flip the formation once if you want.

    4. Arcade moves not allowed: having less than 2 defensive players pass rushing the quarterback (10 and 11 defensive players in coverage isn’t allowed), rocket catching, turbo blitzing, constantly shifting your defensive line or linebackers over and over using the L1, R1 or d-pad buttons, constantly showing blitz then resetting your defense over and over, constantly showing press coverage then resetting your defense over and over, pulling a defensive lineman off the line of scrimmage before the snap, going for a 2 point conversion when unnecessary, going for a fake field goal more than once a game, calling a fake punt more than once a game, onside kick when unnecessary, disconnect glitch, freeze glitch, intentional or unintentional lagging and any glitch from an e-book along the lines of the madden 11 qb spy glitch.

If someone breaks a rule you have to film using it a video camera and upload it on youtube or any video hosting website. You can try to save a replay but EA’s replays can be horrible, so rely on EA’s replays at your own risk.

Try to mix up your plays on offense and defense. If your strength is to call zone or man press defense most of the game that's fine. If your teams strength is to pass the ball 2 out of every 3 plays that's also fine. But no one should be passing the ball nearly 80%-100% of the time.
